Crosby Hall Educational Trust will be holding their annual art fair this next weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you have never been, you must go and check out the 100′s of quality original and ‘affordable’ art works, alongside fine crafts from around the local area. And when you have finished shopping, you can have lunch or perhaps just a cake and a cup of tea. Please see the link below for more information.
On the 7th of December in our art room, Les Darlow from Blackpool will be demonstrating his landscape pastels for us, he is known for dramatic weather inducing skies, I think a lot of people will learn a lot from Les and I am looking forward to it. If you are interested in seeing this demonstration and you are not a member, it is just £3, please ring the Chair to book or email the club. Hope to see you there.
This Saturday the 28th, the Sefton Open which incorporates the Palette Club will open its doors until the 19th of December at the Atkinson in Southport. Please go and have a look at not our members work but other art groups from around Sefton as well as the individuals who are exhibiting with the Palette Club. Last year was a good show and I am sure this year won’t disappoint either.
Well we did it again….cleared our cupboards out and dusted our book shelves and raised some £50! We will have another session in the New Year…just in case Father Christmas doesn’t bring us exactly what we wanted! Thanks to everyone who supported this.
